Crypto Due Diligence: How to Evaluate Reviews

Crypto due diligence starts with checking the evidence behind a claim. Learn how to evaluate crypto reviews by separating provider documentation, source checks and actual transaction observations.

Start with the exact claim

A useful reference supports a specific statement: a fee schedule supports pricing, technical documentation explains a mechanism, and an incident record describes a dated event. A homepage link alone does not verify every detail.

Look at what the date means

A page update, a personal review and a website response record different things. Ask whether the changed field was actually checked. A new year in a title does not refresh an old fee.

Separate documentation from testing

A published feature, a quote observation and a completed transaction provide different evidence. An audit also has a defined scope and date. None alone establishes universal reliability.

Check incentives and missing information

Look for paid-placement or affiliate disclosures near commercial links. Unknown fields should stay visible. A useful comparison explains the assumptions behind a recommendation instead of assigning a score without a method.
